Michelle Oppelt is the CEO of Open Management, a national property and asset management platform overseeing more than 6,000 manufactured housing community lots and a $300 million real estate portfolio. Under her leadership, the company has achieved a 98%+ portfolio-wide collections rate and infilled nearly 1,000 manufactured homes, while building out full-service teams spanning capital projects, home orders, sales and marketing, resident experience, compliance, and financial reporting. With nearly 20 years of experience founding, building, and scaling companies - including her first venture, launched in 2007 and featured on CNBC - Michelle has learned that sustainable growth takes more than strong numbers. It requires strong people, clear processes, consistent execution, and a culture of accountability. That philosophy shapes how she and her team partner with property owners and investors: managing every community as if it were their own, with an owner-operator mindset, data-driven decision-making, and a relentless focus on creating great experiences for residents, clients, and team members. Outside of work, Michelle is a proud mom of four. She credits motherhood with shaping many of her leadership principles, including adaptability, resilience, empathy, and the importance of building teams where people feel supported, trusted, and invested in shared success.
